7. You can also stick empty raindrops on the wall or refrigerator, and then fill them in during the week. The more raindrops there are, the bigger the proof that even when things don’t go as planned, there’s always something to be grateful for!

Thankfulness Branch

Do your kids enjoy decorating the Christmas tree? Mine love it! The problem is that it’s only a once-a-year opportunity, and they also have a mom who has her own opinion of how the Christmas tree should look, so they can’t really do it entirely as they’d like.

But I did let them hang note tags on this fall branch in any way that they wanted, and they said it was as much fun as decorating a Christmas tree! They even started singing Christmas carols.

This activity is a simple way to count all the things that your family is grateful for this month. There’s plenty of space for everyone to add additional thoughts throughout the month, and it also makes for a lovely fall centerpiece.

ALL YOU NEED:

tree branches

large vase

tags

pen

1. Cut some tree branches and place them in a vase.

2. Hang tags on the branches and set up a pen station next to it.
